British alt-rockers Muse play KeyArena

Led by singer and instrumentalist Matthew Bellamy, English alternative-rock band Muse is known for its eclectic blend of musical styles — from “space” rock to heavy metal — as well as Bellamy’s distinctive, falsetto vocals. Currently on tour with opening act Band of Skulls, Muse is performing music from its sixth studio album, “The 2nd Law.” The band has won a breathtaking number of awards, among them a Grammy, an American Music Award, five MTV Europe Music Awards, six Q Awards and eight NME Awards. With album sales of more than 15 million copies since its inception in 1994, Muse can afford to stage lavish, eye-popping productions that thrill its legions of fans.

7 p.m. Friday, KeyArena, Seattle Center; $62 (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).
