‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’

The 1964 animated special is another welcome holiday treat. Among its delights are a score by Johnny Marks (“Silver & Gold,” “There’s Always Tomorrow”), an elf named Hermey, the Abominable Snowman and the Island of Misfit Toys. Narrated by Sam the Snowman (the voice of Burl Ives). 8 p.m. Tuesday on CBS (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“The Sting” (1973), 7 p.m. (TCM): To avenge a murder, two con men bilk a mobster with their betting-room scam in 1930s Chicago.

“Hart of Dixie,” 8 p.m. (CW): Wade decides that he wants to go on a date with Zoe; instead of revealing her feelings to Lavon, Lemon offers him advice about his relationship with Ruby; George tries to get Tansy’s attention.

“Ben and Kate,” 8:30 p.m. (Fox): Unwelcome guests join Kate and Will on their romantic camping trip; B.J. tries to help Tommy get over Kate.

“Don’t Trust the B--- in Apartment 23,” 9:31 p.m. (ABC): Chloe takes June drinking in the financial district, where she finds a hot broker and a job offer; James is paired with the worst dancer on “Dancing With the Stars.”

“Sons of Anarchy,” 10 p.m. (FX): (Season finale) Jax strikes a new deal while getting rid of old problems.

“Parenthood,” 10:01 p.m. (NBC): Mark becomes increasingly impatient as Sarah tries to help Hank reconnect with his family; Julia asks Kristina for advice when Victor gets frustrated with school; Adam and Crosby try to save the Luncheonette and record an album for Glen Hansard.
