Vancouver ColumbianCAMAS — Camas' Nate Beasley rushed for 249 yards and four touchdowns, caught another touchdown pass, and the third-ranked Papermakers routed previously unbeaten and second-ranked Federal Way 65-32, advancing to the semifinals for the second year in a row.
New to the 4A ranks, Camas will take on defending champion and top-ranked Skyline (12-0) of Sammamish next weekend in the Tacoma Dome.
"I'm at a loss for words," Camas lineman Chris Durrett said. "I'm just blown away. Completely blown away."
Added lineman Matt Walser: "It's amazing. I would have never foreseen this. Just a great win for us."
Camas had 51 points at halftime, 37 coming in just the second quarter. Quarterback Reilly Hennessey completed 12 of 15 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
Class 2A
No. 2 Lynden 42, No. 10 Sumner 7
Lynden quarterback Josh Kraght threw five touchdowns, three to Jalani Phelps, in a win over Sumner, which finished with a record of 9-3.
Class 1A
Montesano 17, No. 1 King's 7
Quarterback Billy Green, a BYU commit, pulled King's within a field goal on a seven-yard run in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough to stop Montesano from completing the upset. King's entered the game undefeated.
