Reggie Dunn took the second-half kickoff, broke through a pack of WSU defenders and was off to the races on a 100-yard return, giving him three in two weeks and providing the Utes a 39-0 lead.
Star of the game
John White had 101 yards on 18 carries for the Utes, who are 11-0 when he tops the century mark.
Utah turned in six sacks, two by end Trevor Reilly, making it 16 allowed in two weeks by the Cougars, and 40 for the season.
Feddie Davey, WSU reserve safety and special-teams player, left the field at game's end on crutches with an apparent left leg injury (WSU does not release injury information).

"I hope not. Maybe in baseball." — WSU coach Mike Leach, who once coached youth baseball, to the question of whether he had ever had a team shut out (WSU scored on the last play of the game).
