Aberdeen couple wins $3.6M state lottery

The Associated Press

An Aberdeen couple has won a $3.6 million Washington lottery jackpot.

KXRO radio reports Roger and Darla Sauer bought the winning ticket over the weekend. Darla says they have bought a ticket with the same numbers every week since the state started the game in 1984. The couple has been married since 1974. Roger is a high school English teacher and Darla is an active volunteer.

The couple says they have no immediately plans about how to spend the money although they do have some charities they plan to support in a more generous way.
