Monday TV Picks: 'Major Crimes' on TNT

'Major Crimes'

How do all you fans of "The Closer" feel about its new incarnation? While I love seeing many of the former show's great ensemble cast (G.W. Bailey, Raymond Cruz and Michael Paul Chan are standouts), I'm having a hard time warming to Mary McDonnell's Capt. Raydor. Yes; the character has always been kind of remote, but maybe it'll just take a few episodes for Raydor and the show to get into a good groove. 9 p.m. Monday on TNT (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
