Unidentified pedestrian killed in Spokane

The Associated Press

Investigators are trying to identify a woman who was fatally struck by a car Saturday night on Spokane's South Hill.

The unconscious woman did not have any identification on her when she was found in the street. She died Sunday at a hospital.

Police contacted the driver and say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.

Police say the dead woman appeared to be in her 60s. She was short, weighed about 110 pounds and was wearing light blue shorts, a white tank top and walking shoes.
