MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Brian Anderson homered and Lou Montanez drove in two runs as the Memphis Redbirds beat the Tacoma Rainiers 7-5 Saturday in a Pacific Coast League game.
Shelby Miller (8-9) allowed three runs and seven hits in 5-2/3 innings for the victory. He struck out 10.
Luis Antonio Jimenez went 3 for 4 with a homer and four runs batted in for Tacoma (50-71). Justin Smoak had two doubles and two runs scored, and Alex Liddi also had two hits.
Everett 6, at Spokane 5
Mike Zunino went 4 for 5 with a homer and four RBI to lift the AquaSox (7-11) in a Northwest League game. Dominic Leone pitched scoreless ball for the last two innings to earn his fourth save.
