Suspect wounded in Yakima drug bust | Seattle Times Newspaper

An officer shot and wounded a man during a drug bust in a Yakima parking lot.

Capt. Rod Light says members of a task force including Yakima police and Drug Enforcement Administration agents were conducting a "buy-bust" operation Thursday afternoon when a suspect tried to flee and rammed several vehicles.

An officer shot the man who was taken to a hospital. KIMA reports ( http://is.gd/ewdoWd) he was shot more than once, and a second man also is in custody in the case

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports ( http://is.gd/g9pp8b) none of the nine officers involved were injured.
