TACOMA — Fresno hit three home runs off Steve Garrison in his Tacoma debut, beating the Rainiers 12-3 in a Pacific Coast League game at Cheney Stadium on Sunday.
Brett Pill drove in five runs with a double and home run for the Grizzlies.
Garrison, a left-hander, allowed eight hits and seven runs (six earned) in five innings. He went 5-3 with a 3.95 earned-run average for AA Jackson.
Alex Liddi and Carlos Peguero homered for Tacoma (33-49).
Eugene 5, at Everett 4
B.J. Guinn's two-out, run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning gave the Emeralds a Northwest League victory at Everett Memorial Stadium.
The AquaSox (13-4) twice stayed alive with late-inning rallies, scoring two in the ninth and two in the 10th. Alfredo Morales had a pair of doubles for Everett.
