PLAYERS
David Brannon

Completed 58 percent of his passes for 1,096 yards and 19 TDs with only four interceptions. Also rushed for 342 yards on 54 carries and five TDs. Offensive co-MVP of Metro's Mountain Division with teammate Brandon Markey.

Derrick Bradley
Kamiak, RB, 5-10, 185, Sr.

Rushed for 1,182 yards (9.0 per carry) and scored 22 touchdowns while playing on injured ankle much of season. Bradley was also a lock-down cornerback who faced opposing team's best receiver. Headed to UW.

Jon Williams
Redmond, RB, 5-11, 182, Sr.

Durable player routinely carried 30 to 40 times a game. Gained 1,605 yards, breaking Evan Benjamin's season school record (1,282), and scored 26 TDs. Led Redmond to 7-3 record and a district playoff berth against Kentridge.

Brandon Markey
O'Dea, RB, 6-0, 205, Sr.

Offensive co-MVP of Metro's Mountain Division. Despite not playing full games because of lopsided scores, had 1,206 yards, 22 rushing TDs. Also had three TD receptions, a punt return for a score, two kick returns for TDs.

Craig Chambers
Jackson, WR, 6-5, 195, Sr.

Star Times repeat selection. Top WR in WesCo despite being double- and triple-teamed. Caught 48 passes for 804 yards. Believed to be earliest recruiting commitment ever at UW, where brother Richie played.

Sam Himmelman
Kamiak, C, 6-1, 250, Sr.

Top member of Knights' offensive line — aptly nicknamed "the Dozers." Paved way as team racked up 2,059 rushing yards this season, while pushing large tires for his training regimen. Three-time all-league pick.

Drew Fowler
Kentwood, OL, 6-6, 260, Sr.

Big reason Conquerors have had prolific rushing game past two seasons. All-SPSL North first team as junior and senior, and Offensive Lineman of Year this season. Has chance to help Kentwood win second straight 4A state title.

Cody Pettersen
Cedarcrest, WR, 6-1, 180, Sr.

Red Wolves' most dangerous offensive threat. Caught 49 passes for 1,185 yards and 12 TDs, best in KingCo 3A. Set school record for receiving yards in a season. Had best game vs. Liberty, catching six passes for 303 yards and five TDs.

Tyler Ashby
Ballard, OL, 6-4, 290, Jr.

Potential to be big-time college player. Big reason Beavers led KingCo 4A with average of 352 yards total offense per game. Helped RB J.T. Diederichs rush for 1,168 yards, second best in conference.

Jeff Dicks
Bellevue, OL, 6-3, 240, Sr.

Dominant run blocker in Wolverines' Wing-T offense. Team averaged 391 yards rushing, best in the conference. Named KingCo 3A Lineman of Year. Good football instincts. Brother of UW lineman Dan Dicks.

Brett Thielke
Skyline, OL, 6-5, 285, Sr.

Primarily a pass blocker in Skyline's spread offense, but also an effective run blocker. Anchored line for offense that averaged 406 yards per game. Team leader. Helped Skyline to state quarterfinals for third consecutive season.

Chris Powers
Eastside Catholic, K, 5-9, 140, Sr.

Powerful, accurate leg with 50-yard-plus range. Was 6 of 8 on FG attempts, including makes from 48, 44, 42 yards. Had 10 touchbacks (of 14 times team kicked deep) and converted 5 of 6 onside kicks in season's last three weeks.

ALL-PURPOSE YARDS
Keauntea Bankhead
Ballard, 6-0, 200, Jr.

One of the most exciting players and best athletes in KingCo 4A. Played wide receiver and safety and returned kicks. Led conference with 45 catches for 800 yards and 10 TDs. Had 71 tackles and 3½ sacks on defense.
