Kingsale (18) slides into third as Mariners third baseman Jeff Cirillo tries to make the tag without the ball in the fifth inning. Kingsale held up at third but was awarded a base on the wild throw. Kingsale had been a Mariner until just a couple of days before — the Padres picked him up after the M's waived him to make room for Edgar Martinez.
