2002 holiday cards

Pity the poor dogs whose owners turn them into a holiday greeting card. This year, for our wacky annual Holiday Card Contest, dogs were a favorite. Our top vote-getter, however, was not a mutt, but a melting snowman — delivered with warm wishes from Lisa Ferlic of Seattle. The second favorite? A dog. In this case: a pug posing as an angel by Jennie Palches Grant of Seattle. Here are the contest's two $100 winners and 12 finalists:
