| Vancouver's Circle of Parks
Since its 1986 world's fair, Vancouver has reclaimed the downtown waterfront to create a continuous shoreline park and bike path from Yaletown in the southeast to the cruise-ship terminal at Canada Place on the northern shore. Condominium-tower developers provided most of the financing in return for cheap government prices on spectacular building sites.
