Jennifer Henrichsen
Jennifer Henrichsen is a senior at Pacific Lutheran University, majoring in political science and conflict resolution. This summer she is interning as a journalist at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Alyssa Thornley
Alyssa Thornley, 20, graduated from Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, and is a junior at Western Washington University. She is majoring in French and linguistics, and plans to minor in Chinese. She is currently studying at Yunnan Normal University in Kunming.

Laura Geggel
Washington University in St. Louis student Laura Geggel, 21, is spending her junior spring semester abroad at University College London. She's a 2003 Mercer Island High School graduate and she's blogging about her European adventures.

Riana Hensel
Riana Hensel, 20, is a junior at the University of Puget Sound, majoring in Spanish literary studies and minoring in comparative sociology. A native of Santa Rosa, Calif., Riana is a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and rowed on UPS's crew team. She’s spending several months in Argentina and other parts of South America before returning to school in early August.

Daniel Cairns
Daniel Cairns, 21, is a junior at the University of Puget Sound, majoring in Asian Studies and Chinese. He is a Tacoma native and graduated from Curtis High School in 2003. As part of U.P.S.'s Pacific Rim/Asia Study Travel Program he has traveled to Mongolia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, India and Thailand since departing from Tacoma in late August. He is now in Beijing for the last leg of the program.
