Ethan Stowell's upscale spin on a fish-and-chips joint attracts pot-bellied fishermen, inked hipsters, dressed-up date-nighters and the highchair set with their parents--all crammed elbow-to-elbow at the counter, bar or banquette in a 600-square-foot space next door to Staple & Fancy in Ballard. Chowders, sandwiches, salads and snacks compete for your attention, but fish and chips (cod, salmon, rockfish, oysters and clams) anchor the menu. Full bar. Dinner daily.
