The London Plane

Critic rating: Star rating

Part café, deli, bakery and florist, plus a purveyor of specialty pantry items and unique housewares, this is just the sort of emporium you'd expect from chef Matthew Dillon (Bar Sajor, Sitka & Spruce) and Katherine Anderson (Marigold and Mint). Simplicity and superior ingredients reign. Breakfast and brunch offer buttery baked goods, cultured dairy, toast with toppings, eggs and heartier plates to share. Weekday lunch runs to soups, salads and sharable plates, with full service until three; the cold case remains stocked until closing for counter service or takeaway.

No telling what you might find on your plate or want to take home at Matthew Dillon and Katherine Anderson’s mini food hall of good living, The London Plane, in the Pioneer Square district.
