Restaurant

The Lost Pelican

Critic rating: Star rating

The menu nods to N'Awlins, as do cocktails, at this easy-going Belltown bar and grill. Any dish with shrimp and crawfish is a good bet, so is gumbo. The $5 plates offered during the leisurely Happy Hour (3-7 p.m. daily) are an especially good deal.

Visit during a weekday happy hour to get good service that pairs nicely with some tasty Shrimp Creole and cocktails fit for the Crescent City.
