Painted gleaming white and duck-egg blue, the room is rustic in a Martha Stewart way. The zinc bar and the kitchen, with its side-by-side wood-fired oven, rotisserie and grill, are focal points. Many plates are dioramas composed of foraged, fished and farmed treasures whose seasons are fleeting. As at chef Matt Dillon's other restaurants (Sitka & Spruce, The Corson Building) the likelihood here of discovering something deliciously new, or something familiar made newly delicious is high.
