Nook
There is something to be said for doing one thing and doing it well, and at this diminutive, breakfast-only University District spot, that one thing is biscuits. Plain, smothered in gravy, or embracing bacon and eggs, the biscuits at Nook are moist, buttery examples of the form. Come early, because they often sell out, especially on Saturdays. Open Tuesday-Saturday; closed Sunday and Monday.
