Crumble & Flake Patisserie

The line often wraps around the corner, with folks coming 20 minutes before the doors open. The cheddar cheese smoked paprika crossiant is a favorite. Just wait until you get a heavenly bite of those crack cookies called "Cheweo", a play on Oreo, with a texture of a rich brownie filled with coffee cream. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday.

Crumble & Flake Patisserie on Capitol Hill is a tiny shop with a big following. Folks are willing to line up long before the doors open to get their favorite pastries.
