Stopsky's Delicatessen (closing Aug. 17, 2014)

Critic rating: Star rating

An evolved (and evolving) Jewish deli worth seeking out for great bagels and bread, latke benedicts and blintzes at brunch, plus noshes like stuffed cabbage and fried kreplach. The Reuben stands out among the well-built deli sandwiches on the all-day menu; look for a seasonal fresh sheet at dinner. Drinks include cocktails, wine, beer, espresso drinks, egg creams and housemade cel-ray soda. Open daily.
