Il Terrazzo Carmine

Critic rating: Star rating

Waiters' jackets are as snow-white and starched as the table linens at this bastion of gracious, old-school Italian dining. From start (a lavish antipasti array with a basket of Grand Central Bakery ciabatta) to finish (exemplary cannoli and tiramisu), familiar dishes from the Italian restaurant canon are definitively rendered with care and high-quality ingredients. Floral-patterned pottery, china, draperies and seat cushions on ladder-back chairs add to the Italian country villa charm.

Il Terrazzo Carmine: Old-school Italian is definitively delivered (August 29, 2014)

By Providence Cicero

Il Terrazzo Carmine, an Italian restaurant in Pioneer Square, was and still is unapologetically old school.
