Rain, rain and more... rain
Posted by Jack Broom
The forecast is plain: We’ll get rain and then rain.
A series of Pacific storms is expected to keep the Puget Sound area damp for days to come, and will continue to pile snow in the mountains, according to the National Weather Service.
A “winter storm watch” for the Cascades is calling for 10 inches of new snow Tuesday and an additional 1 to 2 1/2 feet of mountain snow in storms expects Wednesday and Thursday. Difficult driving conditions are expected.
In the lowlands, scattered showers are expected during the day Tuesday, with a steadier rain beginning after midnight, accompanied by a south wind up to 30 mph Wednesday.
Rain is forecast for the Seattle each day for the remainder of the week, and through the weekend.
It may be time to break out the full-spectrum light – or airline tickets to Mexico.
