Snow creates record traffic numbers on WSDOT site
Posted by Erika Riggs
The Washington State Department of Transportation reported record visitors to their web site this afternoon as drivers prepared for the long trek home.
Just surpassed our old record of 6.2 million page views to our website set December 2008, and it's only 3pm #wasnow #snomg
Users throughout the day reported slow loading times and at times the site was inaccessible.
At 10 p.m. the site will be down for up to 30 minutes for maintenance.
