Nightcap: Should Husky fans have rushed the field after being Oregon State?
As we head into November, I've decided to repackage this nightly post, which I do because my editor has asked me to bring more attention to our daily sports poll by putting it in this space.
Let's call this post Nightcap, and in addition to posting the poll, I'll normally give you a final thought for the night on something in the sports world and perhaps tell you what's on tap in my little sportswriting world.
Tonight, instead of a final thought, I wanted to pass along the podcast to my weekly visit with Mike Gastineau and Elise Woodward on Sportsradio KJR. You can catch us on Wednesdays, starting at 3:50 p.m., on either 102.9 FM or 950 AM.
Here's the link to the podcast. Elise was out, so I was just talking with Gas. We recover a number of topics, including the start of the NBA season, whether the Washington football team can be trusted to capitalize on a soft schedule and go on a long winning streak and what to expect from the Seahawks in the second half of the season. It's good stuff. Have a listen.
And now, for tonight's poll. This is actually a topic I want to comment on, and you can read my take in this space on Thursday. For now, I'll listen to what you have to say. Were Husky fans -- mostly students, from what I could tell -- right to storm the field after beating Oregon State? It's a topic I've been meaning to touch on since last Saturday. It has received some good radio debate this week. I think I have something to add to the conversation, and I'll attempt to do so Thursday.
Now, though, the floor is yours.
Vote and discuss, please.
