From our editors, here's the nightly Times sports poll.

Obviously, there are some more names that could easily be on this list: Marshawn Lynch, Keith Price, Eddie Johnson, Fredy Montero (shout out to him -- what a game tonight), Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson.

But the editors want to pit the two most-discussed local athletes of the moment: Felix Hernandez and Russell Wilson.

For me, it's clear: No disrespect to what Wilson has done during the preseason, but it's all about what King Felix is doing in real games. Russellmania has been incredible to watch. But his preseason performance isn't a fair comparison to Hernandez yet.
