Helping The Big Lead preview the Seahawks

Here's a five-question Q&A that I did for Jason McIntyre of The Big Lead -- a sports site that I highly recommend you should visit often -- to help TBL preview the Seahawks' 2012 season.

For you, the Seattle sports fan who is up on everything Seahawks, some of the questions will shock you because, clearly, Jason doesn't think much of what the Seahawks are building. I had to set him straight on a few things, but I also think his interview style was intentional in order to get the most passionate response from me. As someone who asks questions for a living, I've done that before, too.

This interview does speak to how little people on the East Coast care about the Seahawks -- something that has bothered Seattle fans for a long time and something that I believe will change in a big way starting this season. If Pete Carroll chooses the right quarterback, the Seahawks are primed to have a winning season that could turn into a prolonged run of success. If that happens, they'll be back to their Mike Holmgren era level of relevance, and who knows? Maybe this run will be even better. (Yes, I'm very optimistic. But I believe there is good reason to be.)

Anyway, click on that link and take a read. I put a lot of thought into detailing some of the things I think about the Seahawks this season and setting my friend McIntyre straight on the Hawks.
