Just dropping a quick line to let you know why I've been silent in this space for a while -- and why I'll continue to be so for most of this month.

My beautiful wife, Karen, and I welcomed our first child into this world on Thursday. Miles Warren Brewer was born at 2:21 p.m. that day. If we thought our lives were crazy preparing for him to enter this world, let's just say we exaggerated a little. Now, we understand crazy. But we love our little boy so much. He's an amazing gift. We're so blessed.

And I'm sooooooo not working again until later this month. If all goes well, I hope to chime in from time to time, but the posts will be more inconsistent than ever. I just wanted to let everyone know. Bear with me. I plan on returning to work regularly sometime around June 25.
