UPDATE: Two decomposed bodies found in South Seattle home

Seattle police are investigating the deaths of a man a woman whose decomposed bodies were found in a South Seattle home on Monday morning.
At 9:12 a.m., police responded to 4100 block of 50th Avenue South to check the welfare of the two residents. Officers arrived and found the house was secure. The officers went inside and found the two victims lying next to each other on the floor in one of the bedrooms.
Homicide detectives will be responsible for the investigation, although the cause of the deaths is unknown. The King County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of the deaths and will be responsible for releasing the names of the deceased.
