Christmas Eve drive-by lands four in jail
Posted by John de Leon
Here are four knuckleheads who won't be home for Christmas.
Police arrested two adults and two juveniles early this morning after several gunshots were fired near Seattle Center.
At approximately 2:26 a.m., a West Precinct patrol officer was in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue North when he heard multiple gunshots coming from the parking lot area. The officer saw a vehicle leaving the parking lot.
The officer stopped the car in the area of Denny Way and Broad Street. Additional officers responded and took four males into custody. They also found several weapons inside the vehicle.
Officers and Gang Unit detectives then checked the parking lot where the gunshots were fired and found shell casings. No one was apparently hit by the gunfire.
The four suspects, depending on their age, were booked either into the King County Jail or Youth Services Center for investigation of drive-by shooting and weapons violations.
The Gang Unit will conduct the follow up investigation.
