The Green Bean Coffee House, one of four Greenwood businesses gutted by arson Oct. 23, will reopen Saturday at a new location, according to our news partners at PhinneyWood.com.

Thanks to the owners of the Sip & Ship, the Green Bean will reopen in a temporary location at 8560 Greenwood Ave N. The Green Bean will take over the Sip & Ship's coffee operation.

Another business destroyed in the $2 million arson, Pho Tic Tac, has also reopened in a new location at 14515 Aurora Ave. N., according to PhinneyWood.com.

The Oct. 23 arson was set in the Green Bean and spread to three other restaurants, Szechuan Bistro, C.C. Teriyaki as well as Pho Tic Tac. The Taproot Theatre and a business complex with second-floor apartments nearby also were damaged, mainly by water and smoke. The arson was one of more than a half-dozen in the neighborhood in recent months.

Tonight at 7, Seattle's Fire and Police departments are holding a meeting on the arsons at the Fellowship Hall at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. N.
