‘Crash’ at Seattle Children’s Theatre
Who is happier: bullies, or those being bullied for being “different”? “Crash,” an award-winning Jerry Spinelli novel for youth, explores that question, as does a stage version (with Rio Codda and Emily Chisholm) now at Seattle Children’s Theatre. Playwright Y York’s script concerns two young boys as they discover the value of being different, and the meaning of friendship. It runs through May 19 at Seattle Children’s Theatre, and is recommended for older elementary-school-age youths (206-441-3322 or www.sct.org).
