Every Saturday is opera night on KING-FM

Classical KING FM 98.1 and Seattle Opera team up to present opera every Saturday night on the radio, and an enhanced Seattle Opera channel.

Spend an evening at home enjoying opera with Classical KING FM/Seattle Opera's new broadcast series.

At 8 p.m. every Saturday, KING 98.1 will offer opera in some form — live broadcasts or recordings. Seattle Opera general director Speight Jenkins and director of education Sue Elliott will share hosting duties, continuing KING's tradition of broadcasting a live performance from each of Seattle Opera's five productions in a season. (Those broadcasts begin at 7:30 p.m.)

Coming up: "La Gioconda" on Saturday and "Cosi fan tutte" on July 16, recorded in London.
