Holiday Entertainment: Pop music and jazz raise holiday spirits
A list of gospel, jazz, oldies, Celtic and other popular-music concerts scheduled in Seattle between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve. The lineup includes: A Duke Ellington Sacred Concert at Town Hall; Winter Warmth Concert featuring Michael Franti and Spearhead; Hanz Araki & The Celtic Conspiracy's Solstice Concert and the Deck the Hall Ball.

To lift the spirits in the dark days of December, there's nothing better than music — especially soul-stirring gospel, mind-expanding jazz and traditional Celtic music. All these and more fill clubs and concert halls right through New Year's Eve.
