‘Food Fighters’

Take a dash of “Iron Chef” and sprinkle in a bit of “Top Chef Masters,” and you’d get this new culinary competition. Each week amateur cooks take on professional chefs in a series of five challenges to win an ever-increasing cash prize. Hosted by Adam Richman (“Man v. “Perception,” 10:01 p.m. (TNT): A sniper shoots up the lobby of the Federal Building; Pierce and Moretti search for a shooter in Virginia; a woman urges Donnie to run for political office.
