‘Sherlock’

SherlockLives! Of course fans knew that, with the brief glimpse of our hero at the end of Season 2, but how did he survive “The Reichenbach Fall”? Inspired co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss poke fun at fan theories and expectations in the Season 3 premiere, “The Empty Hearse.” Two (of many) highlights: the restaurant reunion of Holmes and Watson (Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman) and a motorcycle race through the streets of London on Guy Fawkes Day. 10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, on KCTS (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
