‘Silkwood’

Meryl Streep was an Oscar nominee for her portrayal of Karen Silkwood in Mike Nichols’ 1983 biographical drama. Nora Ephron and Alice Arlen wrote the screenplay, Cher and Kurt Russell have supporting roles. 8:30 p.m. Friday on TCM (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
