Simon Cowell’s singing competition wins the dubious award of being the first “returning series” to premiere this fall (and it has only two votes in our TV poll — details below). For the series’ third season, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio (who?) join Demi Lovato and Cowell on the judges panel. Season premiere, 8 p.m. Wednesday on Fox (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
