“Top Gear,” 9 p.m. (History): Adam, Tanner and Rutledge race from New York City to Los Angeles on an epic 3,000-mile road trip across the country in brand new supercars.
“Cold Justice,” 10 p.m. (TNT): A former prosecutor and a former crime-scene investigator look into unsolved cases; Siegler and McClary head to Cuero, Texas, to search for new clues in the 2001 death of a woman, which was previously ruled a suicide.
“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” 11 p.m. (Comedy Central): Stewart returns to the anchor desk after a summer hiatus.
