Sunday TV Picks: HBO’s ‘Veep’
TV picks for Sunday, April 14, 2013, include “Veep” on HBO, “The Amazing Race” on CBS, and the “2013 MTV Movie Awards” on MTV and VH1.
Tonight in Prime Time
This wicked (and laugh-out-loud funny) political comedy about fictional Vice President Selina Meyer and her staff returns for a second season tonight. Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Meyer to the hilariously quirky hilt, and the actors playing her co-workers (Anna Chlumsky, Matt Walsh and Tony Hale) can match her laugh-by-uncomfortable-laugh. 10 p.m. Sunday on HBO (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
