‘The Walking Dead’

Ya-Hoo! The great (and very gruesome) series about a group of humans trying to survive against all sorts of enemies (mostly undead) returns for the second half of its third season. If memory serves me correctly, The Governer (David Morrissey) had just pitted brothers Daryl and Merle against each other in a very “Thunderdome”-style fight to the death. 9 p.m. Sunday on AMC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

Also on Sunday

“The 55th Annual Grammy Awards,” 8 p.m. (CBS): Festivities at Staples Center in Los Angeles honor excellence in the recording industry; scheduled performers include Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, The Black Keys and Justin Timberlake; LL Cool J hosts.

“Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome,” 8 p.m. (Syfy): A routine mission becomes dangerous when two pilots escort a mysterious woman.

“Revenge,” 9 p.m. (ABC): Amanda and Jack’s wedding stirs up emotions as Emily thinks about what might have been; Daniel faces complications at Grayson Global; Conrad starts a new chapter.

“Masterpiece Classic,” 9 p.m. (KCTS): “Downton Abbey, Season 3”: Change affects many at Downton Abbey; the yearly cricket match settles old scores.

“American Dad,” 9:30 p.m. (Fox): Roger announces that Max Jets, a character who showers the Smith family with money, is making a return; a gold-digging waitress romances Max and threatens the family’s inheritance.

“Iron Chef America,” 10 p.m. (Food): When Chef Cantu and Iron Chef Morimoto last met in Kitchen Stadium, Chef Cantu won by a single point; judges are Donatella Arpaia, David Rocco and Kaley Cuoco.
