‘The Americans’
This new period drama looks promising. It follows two KGB spies (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell) posing as a married American couple in the suburban Washington, D.C., area right after the election of Ronald Reagan as president. Series premiere, 10 p.m. Wednesday on FX (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
