‘Girls’

After its double Golden Globe win last week (for comedy series and lead actress, Lena Dunham), you might want to check out this quirky HBO series. Now in its second season, the show follows a group of New York twenty-somethings as they cope with love and life. It’s not for everyone (especially young kids), but fascinating and unique. 9 p.m. on HBO (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“Me and Orson Welles” (2008), 10:05 p.m. (Sundance): After a chance meeting with the famed director, a high-school student gets a small part in Orson Welles’ famous production of “Julius Caesar.” Based on the novel by Robert Kaplow.
