‘King of the Nerds’

A new reality/competition show that celebrates all things geek. It brings together 11 competitors to live together (in a place called Nerdvana) and compete — first as teams, then individually — for a $100,000 prize. Hosted by Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong. Series premiere, 10 p.m. on TBS (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“30 Rock,” 8 p.m. (NBC): When Jack persuades Liz to go to Florida with him, they make a shocking discovery about his mother; Jenna and Tracy assume responsibility for the show in Liz’s absence, resulting in disaster for Kenneth.

“The Vampire Diaries,” 8 p.m. (CW): Rebekah appears at Mystic Falls High unexpectedly and elicits a shocking piece of information from Elena; Professor Shane reveals too much to the wrong person; Caroline tries to comfort Tyler.

“Grey’s Anatomy,” 9 p.m. (ABC): Derek, Meredith, Arizona and Cristina receive news about the plane crash lawsuit; Richard avoids Catherine’s advances; Jackson takes on one of Mark Sloane’s former patients.

“Project Runway All Stars,” 9 p.m. (Lifetime): Three designers are given four days to complete a mini-collection; the winner is chosen.

“Archer,” 10 p.m. (FX): Archer has amnesia and decides the only cure is a spa weekend.
