‘Justified’

Tuesday nights just got a whole lot better with the return of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and this wonderfully involving drama, based on the works of Elmore Leonard. For the fourth season, Givens unravels a 30-year old cold case that hits close to home. Season premiere, 10 p.m. Tuesday on FX.

“Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” 8 p.m. (NBC): Psy teaches Betty and her pranksters how to dance Gangnam style; a jogger steals food from a restaurant patron.

“The Abolitionists: American Experience,” 9 p.m. (KCTS): Five activists take an interest in outlawing slavery, although increasing violence raises doubts about the efficacy of the abolitionist movement.

“Happy Endings,” 9:01 p.m. (ABC): When a pop star buys a dress from Alex’s store, Penny and Alex try to turn it into a press opportunity; Max has an identity crisis; Dave and Brad try to fix things around the house.

“Little Miss Sunshine” (2006), 9 p.m. (IFC): Members of a dysfunctional family set out on a road trip to watch their daughter take part in a children’s beauty pageant.

“The Mindy Project,” 9:30 p.m. (Fox): Mindy’s brother visits and announces his plan to drop out of college to start a rap career; Danny and Jeremy try to charm their landlord in the hope she won’t raise their rent.

“Cougar Town,” 10 p.m. (TBS): Grayson doesn’t learn the rules of marriage in his first week with Jules; Bobby tries teaching Travis lessons on being a man.
