TV picks for Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, include “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown” on ABC, “Project Runway” on Lifetime and “Pocahontas” on ABC Family.
‘Happy New Year, Charlie Brown’
There’s not much new on the tube tonight, so you might want to settle in with the Peanuts gang as they ring in the new year. The second half of this hourlong program is a cartoon called “She’s a Good Skate, Charlie Brown.” 8 p.m. Thursday on ABC (www.seattletimes.com/tvlistings).

“The Mindy Project,” 8 p.m. (Fox): When Mindy hosts the office Christmas party at her apartment, she is excited for her colleagues to finally meet her boyfriend; Jeremy handles the distribution of holiday bonuses.
“Person of Interest,” 9 p.m. (CBS): A person of interest winds up in the middle of a dark government conspiracy with which Finch is all too familiar; Reese makes a discovery about Finch’s past.
“Mysteries at the Museum,” 9 p.m. (Travel): An antique doll tied to a tragic demise; an experiment gone awry that ignites the world of fashion; a stunt that ends in disaster.
“Project Runway,” 9 p.m. (Lifetime): The designers must meet a retail budget while creating a ready-to-wear look; designer Elie Tahari serves as guest judge and mentor.
“Pocahontas” (1995), 9:10 p.m. (ABC Family): Based on the story of John Smith; a Powhatan Indian stops a war between her tribe and the British by interceding with the chief, her father. Animated.
“Parks and Recreation,” 9:31 p.m. (NBC): Tammy II crashes a woodworking awards dinner that Ron, Diane and Leslie are attending; Jerry fails to invite some of his friends to his holiday party.
