‘American Masters: Inventing David Geffen’

The PBS series profiles the agent, manager, producer, mogul and philanthopist who co-founded the DreamWorks studio and helped launch the careers of Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne and Tom Cruise. The special features interviews with Cher, Maureen Dowd, Tom Hanks, Elton John and Steven Spielberg. 8 p.m. on KCTS.
