'The Week the Women Went'

Lifetime's new "unscripted series" takes a look at what happens to the small town of Yemassee, S.C., when the women pack up and leave for seven days. While a lot of the situations feel "scripted" (Teenagers run wild! A 13-year-old runs a restaurant! The men must host a tea party and prepare for a pageant!), the show is compulsively watchable. 10 p.m. Tuesday on Lifetime (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
