TV Picks: 'Face Off,' 'America's Got Talent'
TV picks for Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, include the third-season premiere of "Face Off" on Syfy, another chance for 12 acts on "America's Got Talent" and "Pretty Little Liars."
'Face Off'
In the third-season premiere of this competition series, 11 special-effects makeup artists must create aliens for the "Star Wars" cantina scene. Also, Sean Astin ("Rudy," "The Lord of the Rings") makes a guest appearance. 9 p.m. Tuesday on Syfy (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
